This Privacy Policy explains how Yacht Bot LLC ("YachtBot", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the website at myyachtbot.com (the "Site") and the interactive product demo.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate Site usage (such as page views and referrers). Plausible is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across sites.
- No tracking cookies. The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Demo data. The product demo runs in your browser using scripted sample data. If you choose to enter an AI provider API key in the demo, that key is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
How we use information
Aggregate analytics are used only to improve the Site and understand what content is useful. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
The Site links to and relies on third parties that have their own privacy practices, including our analytics provider (Plausible), our hosting provider, web font delivery (Google Fonts), and any social or community links (such as Discord) you choose to follow.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Information stored locally by the demo remains on your device until you clear it.
Your choices
You can block analytics using your browser's privacy settings or content blockers. Clearing your browser storage removes any demo data held on your device.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
